PRACTICE AREAS: Real Estate
Commercial, Farm, Residential & Development

Throughout the history of our firm, we have maintained an extensive real estate practice. We handle hundreds of residential closings every year and we have extensive involvement in the local commercial real estate market. We represent some of DeKalb County's most active developers, handling all aspects of development from the initial acquisition of property through the final disposition of fully developed units. Issues such as zoning and subdivision matters, preparation of covenants and restrictions, annexation to the appropriate municipal bodies, agreements with contractors are a regular part of the assistance we provide to developers. In addition, our attorneys are regularly engaged in the representation of local lenders in loan transactions secured by commercial real estate and related assets. Agriculture is a large part of the economy in our area and we handle numerous farm purchase/sale transactions annually and are highly aware of the unique issues facing both buyers and sellers of farm property.
