Melissa P. Irick
Professional Experience: Melissa P. Irick joined The Foster & Buick Law Group as an
associate in 2008. Ms. Irick represents clients engaged in civil litigation, employment and labor
disputes and contractor lien disputes. Her employment and labor experience includes
advising both public and private sector employers regarding compliance with employment laws and
development of human resource policies. She has also participated in labor interest arbitration
proceedings. Ms. Irick routinely represents family law clients in dissolution of marriage, custody
and child support disputes, and guardianship matters.
Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Ms. Irick worked for Travelers Insurance Company for six years in
their Coverage Counsel Advice Group. Her experience analyzing liability and property policies gave her a
broad understanding of both commercial and residential insurance issues.
