Kevin E. Buick
Kevin E. Buick began his law practice in 1990, having previously become affiliated with this firm as a
law clerk during the summer of 1989. He became a partner in the firm in 1994, splitting time in the
firm’s DeKalb and Waterman offices before transitioning to Sycamore in 2005.
He regularly represents clients engaged in general civil litigation, real estate, preparation of
wills and trusts, probate administration, banking and business matters. However, in 1996 he began
aggressively developing a municipal practice and currently represents or advises numerous municipal
entities as set forth below in addition to his general practice work.
Mr. Buick freely confesses his affliction as a long suffering fan of the Chicago National League Ball Club.
Perhaps as a means of coping with the frequent disappointment which he encounters in his sporting pursuits, he is
thoroughly engaged in charitable, church and community activities across a broad spectrum. He prides himself on
his ability to work closely with his clients to most fully serve their particular needs, and serves a diverse and
loyal clientele.
